Not dead!

Not dead. thought about it-- seemed kinda drastic for a reaction to corporate headquarters move. {more on that later}

I have been:
not stitching much
working a lot
not getting paid a lot
moping
to Legoland
to Sea World
to the San Diego Zoo
cleaning-- kinda
obsessed with my re-installed family tree software
trying not to throttle people (successful thusfar)
missing all of you!!!!!!!!

I am:
LEAVING FOR WORLDCON ...... TOMORROW!!!!!! OMG!!!!!! Bought the tickets Friday--- what was I thinking???????? ACK! So, so, so utterly not ready. Nonetheless, Montreal, here I come. Oh, and Montreal, please forgive me-- I can't help that I randomly speak a mix of French and Russian. It just happens. Sorry in advance. If you want to be peevish, try and remind yourself that you are currently suffering from your lowest numbers of American tourist in history.

More from the hotel in Montreal... provided I work out the wireless.

hugs and kisses and the promise of stories to come!

Glad to hear you're not dead! I'm a huge Fantasy/SciFi geek, so I'm very jealous of your trip to WorldCon. Have an amazing time. I'd love to hear more about the event on your blog when you get back!

Safe journey and uneventful flying. We will be there on Wednesday afternoon. I'm glad you are taking a break, since you sound like you REALLY need it.

Glad you are back! Hope you enjoy your trip. I don't speak French or Russian, but thought that was funny! I have the same problem with German and Spanish :)

We want stories and lots of photos...and if you can manage a needlework shop up there with photos that would be so cool.
