Ok, I only have a few minutes, but I had to drop in and wish you all a beautiful weekend. And ask you to think positive thoughts for me this weekend for 2 reasons:
1. I have named this Finishing Weekend. I WILL (!!!!) accomplish a significant amount of finishing because I want to mail some stuff out next week. I WILL finish. I W-I-L-L!!!!! Anyone who cares to can join me. Feel free to show me up while you're at it too. lol
2. I am allegedly getting digital cable installed this weekend. I say "allegedly" because I know my cable company. I need the positive thoughts not for them, but for my cleaning efforts in advance of their arrival. For them to get to the TV I have to clear away all my stash! And all he clutter that has gotten swept up in the stash. Argh. Like I said, I need the positive energy!
I still owe you updates form last weekend's stitching efforts. I was good! I got a whole afternoon of work on my Zuni bear needlepoint:
Yeah, I know, you can't see anything on that but----
What I really accomplished was a lot of staring at it and then I mostly completed the vertical panel on his stomach
I also did some "labeling" on my 5th needlepoint:
And this week I completed F&S round 13, but since it is not sent, it can't be received, therefore you can't see the squares yet. Sorry!
ttfn---- have a great weekend!
By the way, I saw this sign last week while I was out and about -- tell me they weren't targeting me!!!

Hi Ruth,
Great progress on the Zuni Bear!
What stitch are you using?
LOL at the 5th and the sign. :-)
Good luck with the cable installation. I know about trying to get cleaned up. Needlework is all over the dining room as I am in the throes of another cycle of reorganizing/ I have to have it all organized or at least cleared off for a meeting Monday night. Sigh...
I've made more progress on my 1st Day of Christmas JB Nutcracker. I hope to put up a new picture next week. That is if it stops raining around here so I can get a decent picture! :-)

Nice progress on your needlepoint projects.
Cleaning up all the stash is always a major task here too. Whenever I'm looking for something or kitting up something everything is pulled out and scattered all over the place. If only I could change this procedure - or find someone who puts everything back in place, lol.
Oh, your Zuni bear is utterly fabulous, Ruth!
Good luck with the planned cable happenings.
great stitching progress! and good luck with the cable guy! we have directtv coming out on wedensday so i hear ya!! now i have to clean out everything (need different entertainment center for the other tv). AHHHH
now on to the finishing, you can DOOOOOO it!!!! i have faith in ya girl! i might even do 1 or 2 with you this weekend!!
I love the colors on your Zuni Bear project! I have been known to do quite a bit more staring than stitching sometimes, so I can totally relate to that :)
Hope your finishing and cable installation all goes well.
Cool looking projects Ruth!
love your Zuni Bear :) hope you got lots of finishing done .. can't wait to see it all!!!
and I LOVE the sign! and yes you were their main target! lol :)
You're working on some interesting and not traditional needlework! But then you're not a traditional girl ;-)
Great progress, Ruth! I hope everything worked out this weekend. I hear you on the cleaning!! Oy.
Very good progress on Zuni Bear.
Hope your plans last weekend went well.
Your needlepoint projects look wonderful. Good luck with your cable service.
Hi Ruth,
Many thanks for your comment on my blog. Yes, I found we are very similar taste for the stitch. I will follow your blog and look forward to see your work.
How's the cable anyway?
